Quickstart

  1. Copy lha32.exe&unlha32.dll , adtgui.exe , adt.bat  and your favorite pictures (160x160, b/w bitmap) into a directory 
  2. After running adt.bat you receive file "bilder.lzh.adt", which you have to transfer to the PV. Now you can run the patch on the PV.

How can I get my favourite pics on the PV?

  1. The Offscreen-Patch must be installed on the Pocketviewer, there is a workshop on installing Add-Ins on pocketviewer.de .
  2. The picture or the pictures in the bitmap format (*.bmp) must be packed into an lha archive.
  3. The lha archives must be converted into an .adt file, e.g. by means of adtgui.exe 
  4. One can comfortably have the last two steps done by the call of adt.bat. First, follow the instructions in point "1." of " Quickstart "

    Now, run adt.bat and you get the .adt-file "bilder.lzh.adt".

    now you have the adt-file for PV App Manager

  5. Transfer the file (e.g. "bilder.lzh.adt") for example with the PV Application Manager
  6. Now you can run the offscreen-patch on the PV.

How do I select my favourite picture on the PV?

On the PV, run the Patch and click on the Icon "menu bar" in the lower right corner and choose "Load Bitmap".

Next, select the transferred .lzh-archive with your pics and click on your favorite pic.

When you have selected your picture, click under in the menu "File" on "Install Bitmap". After following the instructions (a few warning messages are displayed), you have installed an offscreen-pic without having to transfer the whole operating system to the PV.
